Proposing in Tofino || Bhavan & Harj || Tofino Photographer

If you are planning on proposing in Tofino, there are a couple of things to think about. Where are you going to do it? Are you going to have a local Tofino photographer hide and secretly capture the big moment? Are you going to get down on one knee? Most people are nervous—really nervous! Harj contacted me and let me know he was thinking of proposing in Tofino while him and his love were there for the weekend. He wanted it to be perfect (of course!) and he needed a hand planning the moment and he also wanted to have it photographed. We emailed back and forth and had a quick call to discuss the location and how he could get Bhavan to the beach, a bit dressed up without her suspecting anything. We came up for the perfect plan for Harj's Tofino proposal. He told Bhavan that they were going to a beachfront restaurant for dinner. She got ready and he took her to Long Beach where I was hiding with my camera. He started walking down the beach, leading her to the non-existant restaurant and when she started getting suspicious that there was no restaurant in sight, he knelt down and asked her to marry him. She was beyond ecstatic with his perfect Tofino proposal right next to the ocean, complete with a stunning engagement ring and beautiful flower arrangement.
